Our friends at BarTender and Epson have written up a great case study on our work with Polysciences. Polysciences is a global manufacturer of specialty chemical materials for industrial, consumer, academic research, and biotechnology applications for over 60 years. It outlines the printing challenges faced by Polysciences, and the solution designed and developed to remove label waste and to reduce time working with printers.
We were able to create BarTender Intelligent Templates™ to manage complex variable data and workflows, significantly reducing the number of label files the company stores and administers. This was achieved with BarTender’s integration platform and the Epson ColorWorks C6500. We also connected with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, BatchMaster Manufacturing Software, and Lisam SDS. By deploying BarTender, Polysciences has been able to reduce the number of templates in its system from 4,000 to just seven templates and the number of label sizes from 10 to four.
